A bit of history

From the beginning of last century Ugo Corsi and Orombello Nicolai collaborated together in the crafting of prestigious marble-made sculptures for an array of qualified bujers, not only in Europe

but also in America.

By the beginning of the 20's the company, under the competent and visionary direction of the founders, had grown to become the largest atelier in Carrara, the marble art world center.

It was during the 50's that the increasing needs from the customer and the connected company's expansion lead to the building of a new and modern marble saw-mill.

Capable of serving the already established workshop for architectural features: this world have been the embryo that originated the production structure of the company today.

From these beginnings many things happened: the 60's saw the first experimental sawing of granite, whilst 70's were to bring an expansion into new and challenging markets.

The 80's brought with them the arrival of the demand and the supply for projects of unprecedented grand scale.
